A Simple Answer Point enables you to forward an incoming call from a number hosted on the @voice platform to another number. This will mean that the @voice platform will route an incoming call to a designated phone number that you specify, without the need of landing onto a SIP Trunk or End Point.
To set this up, make sure when you create an Account, you create and Inbound Only Account. Once the Account is created, you can then setup forwarding rules. The forwarding rules are the same as our Call Forwarding feature. Please read this article here to find out more.
If you do not see an Inbound Only Service Plan in your Account, please contact your Account Manager, so that we can get that enabled for you.
